Offroad first step

Hello,

the idea is to discover this great environment with the desert and the wadies. But you need to keep yourself safe and the environment clean.

• Chek your car:

  • Good condition 4x4 car

  • Tires (including spare one) in good conditions

  • Fuel level, coolant, engine oil, ...

  • battery mounted securely

  • all lights working

  • Two points of attach (front and rear)

• Necessary equipment / tools:

  • air compressor adapted to a 4x4

  • Rated towrope with 2x rated shackles

  • a shovel

  • Gloves

  • First aid kit

  • Set of walkie-talkie

  • GPS

  • Make sure you have enough battery on your phone / GPS

  • Plenty of water

• During your trip:

  • First: deflate your tires (ex. normal inflating level 32psi / deflate it up to 16.

  • Always wear your seat belt and make sure your passengers too

  • NEVER go out alone. Some will say the minimum is 2 cars, I strongly advise 3 cars as a minimum.

  • Keep some safety distance between vehicles

  • Always stop your car on downard slop for easy start and avoid to get stuck

• Environment:

  • Enjoy this great environment. Wadies or Dunes, this is beautiful and must remain. So please NEVER leave any trash there. Respect it, respect the wild life.

• Additional equipment for your confort and pleasant trip:

  • Camping chairs

  • Camping carpet

  • Coolbox

  • Arbor / sun umbrella

  • Sun cream

  • Cap

  • Sun glasses

  • Camera (yes, you definitely want to keep some souvenir)
